   Glide OS 4.0 was founded my Transmedia corporation. Glide OS was established on 2001 to help businessmen on filing their documents and programs.

How can Glide OS help students?

• GlideOS is an online Operating System that can hold up to 30 Gigabyte of files. Students can save files in here instead of USB's so that even though they forgot to bring it to school they can simply open the GlideOS and get their files as easy as copying it from a desktop. It also gives lot of space for other programs and softwares whenever the hard drive of a computer is already full.

We rate this application 8 out of 10 since it is like your virtual hard drive that can hold up to 30 GB of files. You can open it anywhere and anytime using a desktop or a laptop with an internet connection.

How can webs help students?

• Webs.com can help students in promoting their blogs, projects in schools or to start a small business with the use of website. Hosting your own website is very expensive and not everyone can afford to host a site, so that's why webs is built. Students can host their own website for free and they can use all of its functions. It's much the same as hosting your own website and hosting a free website on webs. Students can benefit a lot from this site because people can do many things when hosting a website. Who knows? Maybe their future would begin at something small such as hosting a free website on webs.

We'll rate this application 7 out of 10 because this site is very useful in terms of endorsing products for sale or for academic purposes such as projects. Other than that, anyone can use webs or create his or her own website which is a privilege to those who can't afford to host a website.  This site is great and is built for everyone who wants to create a website.

eBuddy is a privately held company which owns a browser-based web and mobile messenger service supporting various instant messaging services. eBuddy was launched in 2003 under the name e-Messenger, located at www.e-messenger.net, before rebranding itself in 2006 to eBuddy.

eBuddy supports Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, AIM, ICQ, Google Talk, MySpace Instant Messenger and Facebook Chat using one interface. eBuddy can also be accessed from mobile platforms such as iOS, Nokia Symbian and Android.

• eBuddy can be used by students in terms of communication especially nowadays communication is very important to groupmates because it is much more easier to understand each other's ideas when you would talk in nice manner. eBuddy can be used in different services like Y!M, GTalk, MSN, Facebook, MySpace, etc.

We rate this application 7 out of 10 since this is only for communication purposes only but it would still be a big help for students especially when doing their group works, this could enhance their teamwork as one group. Other than that, you can use this application when you want to communicate with your love ones whenever you want to as long as you have a internet connection. The good thing about eBuddy is that it is easy and is ready to use at the moment that you entered its website.

• Runs multiple antivirus engines.
• Runs multiple file characterization tools.
• Real time automatic updates of virus signatures.
• Detailed results from each antivirus engine.
• Runs multiple web site inspection toolbars.

How can VirusTotal help students?

• VirusTotal can scan a file for viruses or malware contamination, this could help avoid passing of documents with virus that can destroy the hard drive of one's computer and delete all of its files. This is useful when passing documents to each other especially doing group works.

ImageShack has a subscription service but the majority of its revenue is produced from advertising related to its free image hosting. The imageshack.us Alexa ranking in September 25, 2007 was one of the top 40, but now as of May 24, 2011 dropped to 110.According to Nielsen//NetRatings, ImageShack was the fourth fastest growing web brand in July 2006.

How can ImageShack help students?

• Since ImageShack is a free image hosting website, students can upload their images in here and whenever they need to use those pictures on blogs or forums, they can simply copy the URL of that picture and it will be automatically showed at the blog of forum. Videos can be also uploaded in ImageShack.

• PageFlakes is a startup page for any browser that has a lot of applications in it that can help students in a day-to-day basis. PageFlakes has calendar which you can add events on a particular date just like 30Boxes, you can also add tasks that you have to do just like RememberTheMilk. It has a lot of features that can be used in different kinds of reasons. It also has music player which can make you relaxed, video searcher, up-to date news any many more!

Whether you want to transform all letters to upper or lower case, remove all instances of annoying characters such as “>” (which tends to show up in forwarded emails), or simply add a capital letter to the beginning of every sentence, Goformat.com can do the job quickly and easily.

How can Goformat help students?

• Goformat can help students in quickly changing the format of a text whenever they like it. Some text would come in different sizes and different font styles, you can easily change it to whatever you like using Goformat. You can either change it all to uppercase or lowercase depending on your needs. It is also helpful to avoid some instances that some letters becomes uppercase and you will be called Jejemon.
