   Gist helps build stronger relationships by connecting the email inbox, social networks, and CRM systems to the web to provide business-critical information about the people and companies that matter most. Gist provides an entirely new view on leads, contacts, and companies by intelligently prioritizing them, aggregating information about them, and auto-generating profiles (summarizing emails and related news) for those people and companies.  Users experience Gist where they already spend their time - in their email application (with the Gist Outlook Plugin), in their CRM system (Salesforce.com currently supported), or on their mobile device (via iPhone, Android, or BlackBerry application) as well as through a full-featured web application.

How can Gist help students?

• Gist can help a lot of students in a way that it arranges your contacts in different ways, you can edit it by alphabetical order or by their job position. It is really useful for thesis papers whenever students need someone to interview, they can use GIST contacts to find out who is best fit for their interview.

We rate this application 6 out of 10 since it only helps you in your contacts and nothing anymore. It is still useful in a way that you would be more organized especially when you need to contact someone.
